In the pre-computer days of drum-scanning to film, we retouched images by using a series of photographic masks and manipulated these with paint brushes, scalpels and different exposures.

These days retouching takes place principally with Adobe Photoshop®, but the tools found in Photoshop®, believe it or not, still relate to the actual tools we used in the film era. The main difference being, there's virtually no limit to what we can retouch or create in Photoshop®...

Over 25 years of experience and work with a number of magazines and agencies, we can provide Photoshop® freelance retouching and colour correction to the highest standard.

Colour matching and colour correction/CMYK conversion is another specialty, we currently retouch and colour manage several magazines and can optimise your images to the specific printing press conditions.
